The Bedlington has a double coat of hard and soft hair which stands out from the skin. Colors are blue, liver, sandy, blue and tan, liver and tan, sandy and tan.
The breed can live in an apartment but needs regular exercise. They are active indoors and can live without a yard. They are prone to hereditary kidney disease, PRA, thyroid problems and eye issues, such as cataracts and retinal disease.
Grooming requires specialized clipping every six weeks, so it is probably best to learn it yourself.
